Join our Team!  

Psychologist or Psychological Associate to join a successful practice that has been providing assessments and neurofeedback/biofeedback training for over 25 years.  Positions available are part-time, which may lead to full time. We have two locations:  Mississauga (near square one) and Toronto (near Yonge and Lawrence).  There are opportunities at either location and we can provide a flexible schedule that will likely involve some virtual work/ work from home following initial training. 

As a member of our Team, you may provide psycho-educational assessments, psychological assessments and/or assessments to determine if a client is an appropriate candidate for neurofeedback training. 

Candidates certified by Biofeedback Certification International Alliance or interested in becoming certified will be given preference. 

Compensation would be based on experience and discussed at the interview.  Fee for service options are available. 

Requirements:

  • Registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario with competency in Clinical, Counselling or School Psychology 

  • Experience conducting psychoeducational/psychological assessments and writing reports

  • Strict adherence to the College of Psychologists of Ontario’s Code of Conduct

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • The Executive Director, Dr. Lynda Thompson, PhD, C. Psych., BCN is in an expert in the field of neurofeedback.  She is a co-author of the ADD Book and the Neurofeedback Book, has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Biofeedback Federation of Europe in 2010, the Distinguished Scientist Award in 2016 from the Association for Applied Psychophysiology Biofeedback (AAPB), and became an Honorary Fellow of the AAPB for a lifetime of contributions to the field of neurofeedback in 2019. Dr. Lynda Thompson is certified with the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA) and teaches the didactic training course for certification in the field. 

 

  • The Clinical Director, Andrea Reid-Chung, M.A, C. Psych., Assoc., BCN (Board Certified in Neurofeedback) is a Psychological Associate registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She is the Clinical Director at the ADD Centre and Biofeedback Institute of Toronto. Ms. Reid-Chung has been working with Dr. Thompson and the ADD Centre since 2003 and conducts assessments, trains staff and creates specialized training programs using neurofeedback, biofeedback and LORETA neurofeedback. Ms. Reid-Chung was the first author on a paper investigating the effects of heart rate variability on sensorimotor rhythm and a second paper titled “Heart Rate Variability and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI): Clinical Applications. In addition, she has assisted in the publication of 9 other published works in the field of neuro/biofeedback.

  • In addition, the majority of our senior staff are certified with BCIA and have a wealth of knowledge to share.
