Psycho-educational Testing

The ADD Centre offers psycho-educational testing performed by Dr.Lynda Thompson, a registered psychologist.

The half-day testing appointment includes an interview and the following measures:

• Intellectual Assessment- Weschler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-IV) ages 6-16 or Weschler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS-IV)

• • These are standardized IQ tests

• Academic Assessment –Wide Range Achievement Test (WRAT-IV)

• • This test measures abilities in Spelling, Reading and Math

• Other tests as necessary, for example, to assess visual-motor skills.

**A written report concerning results is provided. Parents are requested to bring report cards and the results from
any previous assessments that have been done.

Note: For Gifted Testing only the WISC IV is required and the fee is less.
