Psychoeducational
Testing
The ADD Centre
offers psychoeducational testing performed by
Dr.Lynda Thompson, a registered
psychologist.
The half-day testing appointment includes an interview and the following measures:
- Intellectual Assessment- Weschler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-IV) ages 6-16 or
- Weschler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS-IV)
(These are standardized IQ tests)
- Other tests as necessary, for example, to assess visual-motor skills
- Academic Assessment –Wide Range Achievement Test (WRAT-IV)
**A written report
concerning results is provided. Parents are
requested to bring report cards and the results
from
any previous assessments that have been done.
Note: For Gifted Testing only the WISC IV is required and the fee is less.
